PERFORMANCE ON AND OFF PAVEMENT

FX4 Off-Road Package: Includes bash and skid plates to help protect the Ranger's undercarriage from damage, all-terrain tires with an aggressive tread pattern for enhanced traction off-road, and a status screen to monitor the pitch and roll of the truck and steering angle of the front wheels.

Trail Control™: Available Trail Control controls the brake and throttle over rough and rocky terrain. Just by pushing a button, it engages the engine, transmission and brakes to maintain a constant speed between 1-20 mph. As Ford describes it, it's like off-road cruise control.

Terrain Management System™: Ford's system that allows you to change the throttle and transmission easily and while driving. Four modes (Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud Ruts, Sand, and Normal) have specific mapping for the throttle and transmission which adjusts throttle tip-in and shift points.
