In addition to being the best-selling vehicle in America for the past 40 years, the new 2021 Ford F-150 has swept up the accolade of Lowest Cost to Own Among Full-Size Pickup Trucks by Kelley Blue Book.
The award recognizes vehicles with the lowest projected ownership costs over the initial five-year ownership period and considers depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees. The Kelley Blue Book award, well-regarded amongst truck customers, highlights the longstanding Built Ford Tough tradition of exceptionally capable pickups that serve the needs of their owners without breaking the bank.
The 2021 F-150 is the toughest one yet – it delivers the most maximum towing, payload, torque and horsepower of any full-size light pickup truck. The F-150 also offers a new, class-exclusive available 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 engine. This groundbreaking engine pulls from the collective power of gas and electric energy as well as 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque.
Drivers will also found a vast amount of safety tech – all F-150s come standard with elements of Ford Co-Pilot360 technology, including forward-collision warning, hill start assist, pre-collision assist with auto emergency braking (with pedestrian detection), and auto hold.
